Crew and tickets

We have a core crew of 15–20, plus labour hire and subcontractors as needed. Our team has people in key roles, including a construction manager, crew leaders, and HR and admin support.

All crew hold a White Card. Our crew hold the tickets and qualifications their work needs, including plant operator VOCs (verifications of competency) and statements of attainment, first aid, and site-specific training, and we upskill as projects require.

Safety and silica

We work to each client's site inductions and join their toolbox talks, and run our own when a job or incident calls for it. Every job has SWMS (safe work method statements) and daily pre-starts, and we carry out silica exposure monitoring. Job logging and record-keeping are done in our own digital site app.

Following the tighter national rules on respirable crystalline silica, we commissioned independent exposure monitoring for our own work and have put every recommendation from that company-specific report into practice.

Insurances

Douglass Civil Pty Ltd holds $20 million public liability insurance, workers compensation, and plant and vehicle insurance. Certificates of currency are available to any client on request.
